How does it work?

We estimate that an ‘average’ builder can put together around 250 bricks per hour. So if you’ve booked for 2 hours, you’ll want to avoid sets with more than 500 pieces (especially if you want time to play with it once you’ve finished building). 

How do I know how long we’ll need?

If we’re not fully booked then you can continue to build at your table and just pay for the extra time you need. If someone else has booked your table, come and have a chat and we’ll see if there’s another space for you to try and get it finished.

What happens if we run out of time but we haven’t quite finished building?

1 at a time please! There's nothing worse than getting sets mixed up, so it's 1 set per 'table'. (Each of our tables seat 2, so if you've booked a 4 seater, then you'll have 2 tables, therefore you can have 2 sets at a time). FYI our tables have ridges around the outside to help keep the bricks where you need them — fancy eh?

How many sets can we build?

Table bookings are £3 per person, per hour.

How much does it cost?

Everyone is welcome, but LEGO® is a choking hazard for really little people, so you'll need to keep it out of their reach. We have DUPLO® sets too for mini builders to play with.

Do you have a minimum age?

Erm no… LEGO® is for everyone, come and get involved.

Is it just for kids?

Yes — we have a function room upstairs for parties. If you'd like more information, please email: party@buildersbrewcafe.com

Please note, "unofficial" birthday parties are not allowed in the main area of the cafe.

Do you do parties?

Yes — our main entrance is street level and we have an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please let us know when you book if anyone in your group has any specific mobility needs so we can make sure you’re allocated the best table.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

We like to keep things fresh, so the food menu will vary. We’re not able to guarantee any of our freshly made food and drinks are free from allergens, but we do serve some pre-packaged items for anyone with allergies.
